George Carlin

Carlin was one of the first comics that I really really loved growing up. My pal Doug (son of a comedy writer) and I (stepson of a comedy writer) would play is albums over and over again. He was that good. I'll miss him.

Franklin Avenue found a pre-"7 Words" clip from the Tonight Show in 1966.

Neighbors

I love my little village of Atwater, but I really don't know my neighbors very well. I know the one on my right, but not even really know the older gentleman's name on my left and, except for a few cases up and down the block (and blocks), I know faces but no names at all. I've always wished this to be different, but haven't put in the effort to change it. I'm thinking maybe I should.
