It's been unsually cloudy and stormy these last few days in May in Southern California. On Saturday morning, after bringing Sabrina to the vet for bloodwork -- she needs Rimadyl for doggie arthritis and needs to have her blood checked bianually -- I headed over to Runyon. Though, storm clouds gathered and looked ominous, I made it up and down with just one drop falling on me at the end. And the views of the city were something out of the noir-world -- especially with the unusual construction going on around the trails. Definitely worth the hike (but it always is).
