This poor palestinian doctor who worked both for Israelis and Palestinians came home to discover his daughters all killed by Israeli bombs. Absolutely dreadful. When will both sides have enough of this madness? Ever?

Agree with you, Miles! I find the timing of the invasion into Gaza interesting. Taking advantage of a lame duck Bush admin, no doubt -- not that Bush 43 ever gave a rat's ass about this issue! A cease fire on the eve of the Obama inauguration isn't coincidental. Let's hope he and Hilary will do much more than pay lip service to a peace process.
In a twisted way, this disaster has been useful by bringing this issue front and center once more!
