Los Angeles Times

Though the LA Times has been actively disminishing itself over the last few years, today's edition proved once again that there are some really amazing writers working there. Read these three articles.

Dan Neil's review of a new Mazda is splendid and proof he deserved the pullitzer. Kenneth Turan's review of "Education" is also spectacular. And, of course, Bill Plaschke does a tremendous job at summing up the Dodgers victory.

I think I'll keep my delivery - it's money well spent.

you are making me nostalgic for the glory days of the LA Times, Miles! I think the first time I met you was on the Disney lot (15 years ago???) and you were sitting on a bench on Mickey Drive reading the paper cover to cover. ah, the good old days...

And now, typically, I can do it in 15 to 20 minutes...but there is so much other reporting out there now then back before. What we lost, the interweb has made up for.
