I found you while doing a Google search on "Skipper" Tom Hatten, and I thought you might be interested in the following:
My husband produces a podcast called "It's Only a Movie: From Cult to Classic." It's a show about movies, but also about the movie-going experience. It's a lot of fun to do, and hopefully, enjoyable to listen to.
One of the segments of the podcast is called "The Islander" -- based on an old BBC radio show called "Castaway's Choice." In our version, we talk to notable folks in and around the industry and ask them which ten films/DVDs they would take with them as their only source of comfort and entertainment to a deserted island.
This morning, I interviewed Tom Hatten. He was absolutely charming, and shared a number of fun stories...plus his insight into the films he chose.
Anyway, after reading your blog entry, I thought you might be interested in the podcast. Tom's interview likely won't be aired for another three weeks or so, but I wanted to give you a heads-up, as it were. It's a free podcast through the iTunes store, and you can get a link from our blog: http://fromculttoclassic.blogspot.com/
Enjoy!
